Oktoberfest might be over in Germany but the party continues for SAAZ… This weekend is the Rocky Water Brew Fest where the brewers are planning a German takeover so come visit the SAAZ tent for some delicious brews. SAAZ Folks, On August 19th, SAAZ will be hosting its 28th Commander SAAZ Interplanetary Homebrew Blastoff and we are in desperate need for judges to help support our beer competition. Aloha! Sean and I just returned from Hawaii and I have to say they have several great breweries. We really enjoyed the Mistress of Madagascar – a Vanilla Imperial Stout aged in Koloa Rum Barrels by Kaua’i Island Brewery. We couldn’t bring the beer back but bought some of the rum!
