MAY SAAZ BREWZletter
Summer is almost here. The weather is warmer and the days are longer, giving you more time to relax and enjoy a homebrew! I hope you will take the time Sunday to join us for the next SAAZ Member Meeting.
Many of you have been busy brewing for the the Bottoms Up Beer Run – THANK YOU! The race is over 80% full. We need to promote in the next weeks to get to a sell-out! Shirts are ordered. Medals have arrived. All we need is your support to help make it a success. This is my 11th year as race director and it is a lot but I love it. Sean McCoy helped to coordinate the beer this year and I appreciate all my brewers. It wouldn’t be a beer run without the beer (and cider). With 400 runners anticipated I need all your help on race day. Please plan on showing up at 3pm – June 3rd to help set up. Race starts at 6pm and we will be done around 8:15pm with cleanup. We have to work quick before it gets dark. As they say many hands make light work. Ask anyone who has been it is a fun time. The beer is flowing and I will serve you lunch. Bring a friend! Bring your family! We need everyone!
Thanks in advance, Anne Gregg your president and BUBR Race Director

Volunteers Needed
Friday, June 2nd – Running Zone for Packet Pickup 10AM – 6:30PM
Saturday, June 3rd – Wickham Park Pavilion #1 3PM – 8:15PM
Please email Anne (prez@saaz.org) and let her know you are coming and how many friends you are bringing! We will have lunch for all volunteers. Pack a cooler of canned beer to enjoy (no glass at the park). If you have any special requests for placement let me know so I can accommodate. Preference to serve beer goes to those who brewed.
