This event is free for members. Guests are just $5 or just become a member $20 individual/$30 family.

SAAZ Intraclub Brew Challenge
SAAZ has starting a quarterly Intraclub Brew Challenge. We would like to encourage more brewing in the club and provide more feedback to our brewers. Each quarter the club will announce the challenge ingredient/style and requirements.
RULES:
1) Must be a current SAAZ Member with 2016 Dues paid.
2) Sign-up for the challenge at a meeting – General or Officer. The supplies for each challenge are limited and to keep things fair for all we will not accept sign-ups at any other time.
3) Must pick up special ingredient at a SAAZ Meeting (General or Officer), we will not make special arrangements to deliver items.
4) Bring 6 – 12 oz bottles or a 64 oz growler of your beer to the designated meeting for judging.
5) SAAZ will provide a prize for the winner of the challenge. We also encourage you to enter into upcoming homebrew competitions to win even more!
6) If you fail to participate in a challenge it will affect your ability to partake in future challenges.

Remember the goal of the challenge is to feature the Dr. Rudi hops in your brew. The winner will be selected by a panel of BJCP Judges.
CHALLENGE #2 – Bean Me Up Scotty
Starting in January we will be giving brewers up to 4oz of coffee from Indian River Coffee to use creatively in your next brew. There are no restrictions, just feature the coffee in your beer. Entries will be judged at the Spring Party in March.

If you want to be included in all the fun events SAAZ has coming up, it’s time to renew your membership. Some of the upcoming events and brew challenges are only open to currently paid 2016 members. There are many advantages to membership, you do not want to miss out. Please pay the Treasurer (Sean Gregg) at any club meeting or online at our website via PayPal – Click here to pay. Make sure to get your new membership card from the secretary.

- Entry Window: December 6, 2015 – January 8, 2016
- $7 per entry; 4 entries per brewer; 1 entry per category
- Ship to: Big Bend Brew Off, Shane Brooks, 40 Savannah Forest Circle, Crawfordville, FL 32327
- Each entrant can enter and submit up to four (4) entries maximum. No more than one entry per category.
- Total entries will be capped at 225.
- The Big Bend Brew Off is a beer-only competition. We will accept entries from categories 1- 34 of the current 2015 BJCP Beer Style Guidelines. No mead or cider entries will be judged. Full category descriptions can be found at www.bjcp.org.
